User profiles are not being deleted on log out.

We are having a number of problems trying to impliment
Volatile Local users on our XP Pro workstations.

We are using Netware 6sp3 with XPproSP2 Clients.

The local user is created and deleted without problems,
but their profile c:\documents and settings\testuser\....

Remain on the workstation, when they next log in they get
a new profile with .000 .001 .00etc created. They only
clear when the system is rebooted.

We have tracked down one cause of this problem to the
print spooler which if it is disabled cures this part of
the problem, I am waiting on a hotfix from article 812503
to see if that fixes it leaving the spoole running.

However, we seem to be getting the same .001 ....
generated whenever the user makes a change that affects
their registry ntuser.dat .

The whole underlying crux of the problems seems to be that
the registry for the user can't be unloaded at log off,
and remains locked until the system is re-booted.

We have searched HI and lo for solutions but we never seem
to find the same situation, or it has not been solved.

I am banging my head agains a wall now, has anyone got any
Idea?

Thanks

Robin
