User without Office Run Ms Access 2000 Error

Posted: 02-17-2009, 02:35 AM
Hi,

Got a little issue here. Previously had posted my post on Access and was
directed here.

Had already poseted the question previously but guess does not elaborate
enough on the title. I then repost it to make my question/ discussions more
concise.

Presently one of the pc in my company due to lack of sufficient memory to
install office application does not have any office resides locally. However
job requirement requires user to use application written in Ms Access 2000
from company server.

Is there any method to solve this linkage problem ? Appreciate if someone
could provide some guidance.

Regards, Edison

MS Access 2000 files needs Access 2000. The Access reader available will not work on
version 2000.

does this article offer anything?
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/243957

You mentioned memory in your other post, Access 2k does not have a high
memory requirement, less than 128mb, but requires 160mb hd space approx
