Using a Vista 32-bit serial on 64-it Vista

I bought a copy of Vista Ultimate 32 bit edition a couple of month ago,
however I want to upgrade the RAM on my machine to 4+ gig and therefore I
need to get a 64 bit operating system. My question is, can I use my Vista
32 bit serial for Vista 64 bit, or will I have to splash out for a new copy
of Vista?
