| You might want to search Google with the Vendor / device part of the number, or search a PCI database. http://www.pcidatabase.com/vendor_details.php?id=505 indicates the device to be an SMI status and ACPI timer. Most likely part of the chipset drivers. Chip Number: Cx5530 Chip Description: SMI status and ACPI timer Notes: Kahula chipset for MediaGX CPU, function #1 Regards, Sean Liming www.sjjmicro.com / www.seanliming.com XP Embedded Book Author - XP Embedded Advanced, XP Embedded SupplementalToolkit "Franz Leu" <franz.spam-removal.leu@norfolk.spam-removal.ch> wrote in message news:e5nlKtqIHHA.2456@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... | If you have the driver disk that came with the hardware, you can take the XP Pro drivers and convert them into components. | Thank you guys. I have already componentized many 2000/XP drivers for XPe. The problem is that I even don't find a driver for 2000 or XP, and there are no driver for this from the Hardware supplier either. It seems that I just have to try and see if the system runs without this driver or at least find out what's missing exactly.
