of the 10 computers would not log in the the domain properly. Upon further
checking, I found that all of the computers were getting their IP address
from the DHCP server, but they were not getting any IP function. They could
not access the internet, email, calendar program, mainframe, etc. I
restarrted them and they took a very long time (25 minutes) to finally come
up to the login screen. I logged in as administrator with same results. I
then removed them from the domain and they got IP and they were able to get
to the internet, email, etc. When I rejoined them to the domain, we got the
same problem, long time to boot and no access to anything. I plugged my
laptop into the network cables and had no problem with anything. While one
of the computers was disconnected from the network, I restarted it and it
started up at normal speed. When it got to the login screen, I plugged the
network cable back in and logged in and everything worked just like it
should. However, restarting with the network cable plugged in takes forever.
the screen says "Running startup scripts" when it takes a long time. All 3
computers are doing the exact same thing. Any ideas?
