VID_04E6 PID_80002000 Unknown Device

After doing some googleing I have discovered that this is the UMAX Astra
1220P scanner. Unfortunately the bundled software is called Vista Scan, so
when I google on "UMAX Astra 1220P Vista Driver" I get 1300+ downloads for
Vista Scan and not Microsoft Vista drivers for the 1220P.

This is not a despatate cry for help. The P in 1220 P stands for Parallel,
so it is pretty old, and UMAX stopped writing drivers for it after Win98.
And I can use my wife's HP all-in-one scanner, which is networked to my
computer.

Just the same if there is a Vista driver for the 1220P, and anyone knows
where I can download it, I would appreaciate it.
