video card install

I had a virus and put windows xp professional back into
my computer, BUT when I did I cleared everything off of
my c drive (pavillion) and when windows was through the
video card is not installoed and the sound does not work.
What can I do to fix this or do I have to send the
computer back into service????

So, install the drivers for both.

I tried that an it says that it can find the drivers
after I install them and defaults back to the monitor and
adapter created after I sinstalled the xp
