Video Compatability with Windows Vista | ATI CARD All in Wonder 20

Posted: 09-28-2006, 05:09 PM
I have an ATI All in Wonder 2006 video card, which includes a TV Tuner, but
this card is not even recognized in Windows Media Center within Windows Vista
Beta 2 \ RC1 \ Refresh. Is there a time that it will be recognized? Is this
card any good even though it's a 2006 series? Can you come out with at driver
that will enable this to be done? I can watch TV in Windows XP with no
problem, but not in Vista.
By the time ATI comes out with any support on this 2006 card it will be
obselete.

My interest is to record TV channels and other things from the internet.
Will ATI have something later on that will work with this type of operating
system? Does Microsoft have and update? As it is I am only able to use the TV
with Windows XP Professional settings. Why is a card solid with this
compatability and it's noncompatable?

Please someone reply!

ATI may come out with driver updates to support your TV tuner card with
Vista after it goes retail. But there is no guarantee that this will
happen. Check the MS Media Center newsgroup for tuner cards currently
supported with Vista.

Hey,
I'm using an ATI X1600pro and an ATI TV Wonder Eleite... eveything works
Great but no Remote Control... dag!!!!... Also, I'm suing ATI Driver for RC1
..... You have to you the one with both X86 and X64 together in the same
download, not seperate.
