Sorry, I meant that they are only recognized as AUDIO clips.

I'm downloading some video clips from the net, and some stuff I have taken
myself, but when I try to put them on my Movie maker in the timeline, they
are just recognized as video clips. Anyone ever run into this before?

In Movie Maker, I click on "save to CD". The burning proccess completes
without a problem. I then attempt to view the CD in Windows Media. The
screen appears, the CD runs but no picture appears. The picture remains
black as the CD runs. Indicators display "playing 2060K bits/second", clip:
(name of CD)", playlist: playlist #1. I have copied three CD with the same
results. Why isn't the video appearing?

Close out whatever other media application you are using. If necessary,
reboot the PC.

I tried that, even going so far as to power down the entire system and then
restart. It still converts an MPEG (clearly stated in the other file) into
an MPA.

Read a large number of posts on here....you'll see that Mpegs do not work
well in Movie Maker. You need to 'convert' to another format like WMV, AVI
etc. I use AVS Video Converter (from www.avsmedia.com) but there are other
free ones which can be used. Read a bunch of posts on this matter and see
what others suggest... you can check the website at www.videohelp.com for a
wealth of information. Good luck.
