| Hi, I use Briefcase in Windows XP and are quite happy with it. The briefcase in windows XP able to report the file status (up-to-date or need updating) in windows explorer. I can know from the file/folder status immediately if the file has changed by me locally or other in the file server. When click the Update/Update All, I can further see the suggested action and I can choose the action I want to perform before syncing the files/folders. The briefcase continue supports in Windows Vista. However, I found the open the briefcase in vista is very slow in vista. The briefcase has about 30-40k files. But this volume of briefcase is fast in Windows XP. Does anyone has similar experience? I also experience the vista briefcase sometime may report to sync files which I have sync with my server. I quite certain that the report shown is incorrect. I then try the offline files feature in vista. I am happy with the sync speed. However, the sync center is unable to show me a list of available updates for the files in the offline files folder. This make us unaware of which file has updated. Besides, there isn't a way to let us choose the update action (skip, update) for each items we want before syncing the files/folders. Perhaps there are solution for this that I am not aware of. Please advice. Thank you very much. -- Best Regards Chau Chee Yang | Guest
