virus problem

My Norton Anti-Virus has detected the W32.Spydot.Worm
virus in my msconfig.exe file. It is unable to repair or
quarantine the virus and is recommending I delete the
file. What should I do?

I have a message come up that a vorus has been found in

c:\windows\system32\win32server.exe

The virus quoted is BKDR_HACKARMY.B. My virus checker
has tried to clean the virus but cannot do so. Does any
have any advice. I have used the restore point option but
still get the message come up.

>Hi Steve,
This is Malware and it looks like it can be very
destructive check this link out

europe.com/enterprise/security_info/ve_detail.php?
Vname=BKDR_HACKARMY.B

After you clean this out you might want to download both
ad-aware and spybot and do a scan of your system their
might be more goodies installed?
Good Luck

After System Update, Internet Explorer Opens with a Blank
Page

If some system dll files didn't get registered during a
system update, it can cause IE to open with a blank page
instead of the normal Web site. To fix the problem, you
need to register the appropriate dlls. For instructions
on how to do so, see Community Solutions article 555027

I have Windows XP installed and also Norton anti-virus
(2003) which is regularly updated but the message "NORTON
HAS DETECTED AND REMOVED A VIRUS FROM YOUR COMPUTER". It
displays the virus name as Win32Nimda.enc,
Win32Nimda.A@mm (dll). This message prompts the user to
press OK and I am really tired of pressing ok hundreds of
times. I am really frustrated now and I am thinking of
formatting my computer and using Linux if I don't get a
permanent solution for it.

If any solution is there kindly send it to me at the
earliest so that I don't have to format my computer.
