Vista and WiFi encryption

Hi,
Can anyone tell me; if the Vista team has made any progress on WiFi
encryption?
Vista will not stay connected;if I try to use ANY encryption;be it WEP;WPA;
or WPA2!!!
A major issue;which;desperately needs to be resolved;and I would
think;that the Beta team would be investing time;and energy into
this;instead of "prettying" up the o.s. first; but at this point; it seems
that msft is more concerned with flash;than substance.
P.S.
It's defenitly NOT a hardware issue; because it's just not my make//model of
wireless router;happening on a variety of manufacturer's stuff.
