Vista B2 IE7

Posted: 07-04-2006, 02:26 PM
Does Vista Beta 2 support IE 7? I installed Vista with no problems. Just
followed the instruction on the screen. However, I had IE7 Beta 2 and it
would not function. I tried to uninstall but could not find it in the
Control Panel/Uninstall Programs. So, I tried to install IE7 Beta 3 and got
the message, "Your operating system is not supported by this package."

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I installed Vista B2 over XP SP2 with no problem. Just followed the on
screen instructions. However, IE7 B2 in my old OS does not function. Tried
uninstalling but I could not find a way. Tried installing IE7 B3 but got the
error message "Your operating system is not supported by this package."

Does Vista B2 support IE 7? If so, how can I get it installed.

Vista already comes with IE 7.0 installed. You 'cannot' update the current
build of IE 7.0 to IE 7.0 beta 3 because vista doesn't currently support
this build of IE.
