vista beta help

i get 80070241 when i try and install vista beta 2 which i downloaded today
tryed from dvd desktop and new installation also tryed downloading a further
2 times in case of corrupted download anyone know what 800070241 is and how
to correct it

Try burning the DVD image again at a low speed, 2x recommended. Also, try
launching setup from within Windows XP. If that does not work, create a
folder and extract the contents of the ISO to it and launch setup from
there.

Interesting that I only get one text file when I try to extract the ISO. I
don't understand that

Download it in Mozilla Firefox And it will download correctly

I did download it using Mozilla Firefox 1.5.04. Come on, what computer geek
would really use IE that is testing Vista, lol. Although this posting system
looks much better in IE.

Oh, and I redownloaded Vista and it didn't solve the problem. It appears to
be a problem with the CD player reading the DVD as opposed to being a problem
with the ISO. I received a error when trying to copy the data over from my
DVD to the hard drive on my laptop "Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)"

Microsoft apparently knows about this

Suggestion to all that are having this problem... Get an external DVD
player/burner.
