Vista Beta Not Recognizing Modem At All

I've just installed the public beta release onto my D drive, keeping XP on
my C drive. All seemed to install fine. But Vista doesn't recognize that my
desktop computer has a modem. So I'm not able to dial up in order to
activate the beta within the first 14 days. Any ideas on how I can get Vista
to know that my computer has an internal dialup modem?

Check the manufacturers website for drivers that might support Vista.

Buy a newer modem.
