Vista Beta2 locking up on last stage

Hi, my problem is that after nearly completing the setup process,the computer
locks up and i have to restart. it then says origional desktop will be
restored. there was an 1394 Net adapter issue halfway on setting up,it
advised to contact the company for updates, what is an 1394 adapter? I have
120gig HD,512mem, nvidia Ge-force FX5900xt Graphics card,64bit 3200+amd
processor any ideas thanks

Disconnect all devices not absolutely needed for the installation.

The 1394 adapter is a "firewire" port. It could be integrated in
your motherboard. It probably could be disabled in the BIOS so
that you can proceed with the installation of Windows.

Many people do not ever use firewire devices (mostly video
cameras, some iPods) so disabling it may never be an issue for
you. When Vista's final edition comes out you may find better
support for the device.
