OS to install Vista Business Upgrade
I've attempted a clean install of Vista Business upgrade by not entering the
key and progressing on, realizing that I will have to reinstall with the key
in the future. Vista recognized the RAID5 and allows me to install
(apparently). Goes through the steps to reboot. But when it comes back up I
only get a Black Screen of Death. The monitor light stays on indicating it is
getting signal but no picture. I left it run for over an hour. Switched from
LCD monitor to CRT. Put in a Nvidia 6800GT. Still the same. Probably a
driver issue but how do I put in the correct drivers when I never even get to
a screen loading Windows? Frankly, I wouldn't even be loading Vista at this
time as I think it needs time to mature with drivers, etc but so many people
have been asking me to support it, I need it on a machine. Thought this would
be easy but I'm doing something wrong.
