Vista desktop darker after screensaver

I have Windows Vista RC1 and besides the fact that I can't run my native
resolution of 1600x1200 at 60hz with the DVI output of my card, Windows Vista
also appears to be darker after the screensaver was turned on (just like when
the screen turns darker when you want to log off)
