Vista Device Manager Only see's 2 cores, not 4

I have Vista Home Basic (64bit) with a Q6600 processor. In the device
manager, it lists 2 Intel Quad Core processors and 2 "unknown" processors.
Any help??

So it IS seeing 4 cores, it just isn't labeling the 2nd two correctly?
Sounds like a motherboard maker that isn't totally 100% Intel
compatable. As long as it works fine I would ignore it. If it is
causing problems see if there is a BIOS upgrade available. BE CAREFUL
BIOS upgrades have made things worse in the past and if not done
correctly can make a board unusable.

Thanks for responding. I have an ASUS P5K-E that can support Dual and Quad
Cores. The Bios DOES recognized 4 cores as well as the correct processor
name. In Vista's Task Manager there are four cores listed and showing graph
readings. It does look like like Im running on all four cores but for some
reason the Device Manager only recognized two.

Oh yeah, I have the most up-to-date BIOS installed too.
