Vista, Dissable Networking Password

Posted: 11-13-2007, 01:09 PM
Ok,

well i have several PC's that are all running vista home premium, connecting
to a fileserver running vista ultimate, security is not a concern to me atm,
I am trying to set my network up so that it is unnecercry to log in each and
every time i want to access the server, I have password protected shareing
off, and have geust's allowed in the permissions of the folders i am trying
to share, the problem is that even after i have followed the step by step
instructions at http://www.home-network-help.com/sim...e-sharing.html it
is still asking me for a password every time i go to connect to the server
after i have loged out and in again, this is a major problem for me as
several of the computers have scripts that need to run from the folder on
startup prior to me logging in. Is there a way to compleatly dissable
password shareing so that i can just immidatly access those files without
haveing to enter a login??
