Vista Domain network issue

Posted: 01-07-2008, 05:16 PM
Hi,
We have a windows 2003 domain with 2 DC's exchange etc, the DCs are SP2 most
of our clients are windows XP and have no problems connecting to the network.
The problems is the Windows Vista Buissnes machines sometimes connect to the
first DC they cannot ping it or run the login scripts etc in its netlogon
folder, but these machines can connect to DC2. If i logon on to the first DC
(DC01) then ping the vista workstation then the workstation will be able to
ping dc01 and comunicate with it, but if i have not doen this then pinging
will time out.

I have tried disabling IPv6 to no avail.

Has anyone had simular problems?

Cheers in adv Rich
