vista dual boot

hi..

i have a pc that has an windows xp installed and i dual boot vista with
it..my windows xp is joined on a domain can i still join vista to the domain
using my user account from xp? in other words i have 2 os joined on a domain
with one account

Sure, you just make the Vista is different computer account or hostname.

Yep, there should be no issues with that, provided you join them with
different machine account names and have permission to add multiple machines
to the domain.... I think the default is to permit each user to add up to
five machines, and your admin can change that if you need to add more.

The only issue you may encounter (from the dual-booting, not the
domain-join) is that XP will corrupt the Shadow Copies of your disk, which
Vista uses for System Restore. That means that Vista's System Restore will
only contain restore points back to the last time you booted XP, and the
same will be true for the Previous Versions feature of files.

Vista Dual Boot

When I boot in XP on my main comp I can see all my other comps except the one
with Vista installed. When I boot in Vista, I can't see any other comps (4).
I checked my settings again and again and I can't pinpoint the problem.
Please helpppppppp......
