Vista Error Code "Bartshell Module"

Posted: 01-20-2008, 05:30 AM
I recently bought my grandma a new computer that is running vista home
edition. She is having trouble running her peoplepc internet, and the error
code "bartshell module" keeps coming up and shutting down her internet. Is
this a computer problem? or a Vista problem? What can I do to make her
peoplepc run better?
Thanks

As near as I can tell, it's a peoplepc module that has something to do
with assigning ports for your internet connection. I Googled "bartshell
module" and there are a lot of hits but I didn't see any clear fix. Best
thing to do is yell at peoplepc about it. It is definitely not MS or Vista.
