Vista Event loggers

A series of event loggers are found in the Computer Manager, and i watch
particularly the EventViewer/CustomViews/AdministrativeEvents. There are many
errors and warnings listed there, but with no obvious effect on day-to-day
function.

Is that "normal" for Vista, or should messages those be treated as issues to
be dealt with? If some are important and others are not, how generally to
tell the difference?

Peter

You need to be concerned with those labeled "Error" and to a lesser
extent "Warning". You can safely disregard "Information Reports".

In my view you need to try to tackle issues as they arise. However,
most of us are having to adjust to the differences for Vista as they
are few records in Google to check against. Also they are a number
of bugs, which Microsoft and others need to address.

Hope this helps.

I also have a few of these. Many went away when the new ATI driver was
installed. Most are now awaiting the release of UPHClean 2.0. ( I had
UPHClean 1.6 ) and that was causing problems until I removed it.

I sent all these error messages to MS and hopefully, others are doing the
same.
