Vista home Premium 64 bit Verses Nvidia SLI

I have installed to install the NVIDIA beta 158 drivers.

When I get to the "enable SLI button and click on it"

I am transported back to my desktop and yet the existing NVIDIA drivers for
the two 7800GTX cards show that: 7.15.11.5818 drivers are in fact installed.

But NO SLI.

Can / will someone please guide this old boy thru the required steps to
utilize the SLI mode?

I don't believe nVidia has this working yet.
