Vista Install Options

Ok, anyone try burning the 32bit beta 2 to a single layer dvd? It i
after all just 3.5g. Or is the image compressed? Is there a FAQ o
using another method of install, say from the image itself

Also, kudos go to Andre and the others that are always helping other
here, they rock

Yes, the 3.5 GBs can hold on a single layer DVD without any issues. You can
also use Virtual Drive software to install it such as Daemon Tools or NERO
Image Drive.

A 4.7 GB DVD (single layer) is fine. You don't need a dual-layer DVD-9.

That's right - anything *above* 4.7GB needs to be virtually mounted or burnt
using a dual layer drive.

And don't forget - everyone on this newsgroup deserves praise ) everyone
learns something new, including me! That's why I love this community so
much - constantly learning and providing help to others )

Guess this is time to consider moving from my Microsoft career into teaching
like I originally planned! )
