Vista Media center video is choppy

I have 2 ATI elite TV tuners that worked fine with MCE 2005 however with
Vista the video is really choppy. My computer is a 3.2ghz dual core with
Intel’s 945 chipset (should be no issues there). I have tried different
drivers with no luck.

Has any one used this TV tuner successfully? Should I just upgrade or
downgrade to 2 Hauppauge 150’s, as they have beta drivers?

My ATI 550 based generic TV tuner works fine under Vista....as long as I
don't have Windows Mail running. Watching TV is fine, open windows Mail and
click on it to bring it to the foreground...it will be choppy then unitl I
quit windows mail...even if I just focus on tv

I'm using a Powercolor 550pro PCI-ExpressTV tuner in a Vista Beta 2 PC
without any choppiness in the video. It uses the same chip as the ATI Elite
Wonder tuner. I'm using an ATI x300 video card in this PC so I had downloaded
and installed the most recent ATI Vista drivers from the ATI.com site. The
driver creates an ATI folder the system drive; drilling down in that folder
you'll find a folder named RIO. That contains the ATI Elite TV tuner drivers
that you can use to update your existing drivers through Device Manager.

My Vista Beta 2 system specs are Pentium D 2.8GHZ, Intel 945 chipset, 1GB,
ATI Radeon x300, 1 Powercolor 550pro PCI-Express NTSC TV-tuner, 1 Fusion
HDTV3 Gold PCI ATSC TV-tuner, Aopen AW870LP 7.1ch PCI audio.
