Vista, Outlook 2002 and passwords

Posted: 02-04-2007, 03:17 AM
Anyone have any idea why, after upgrading to Vista Business edition from Xp
Pro and using Outlook 2002 the whole time, it wont remember email address
passwords at all no matter that I fill in the tick to TELL it to remember?

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

This is very little consolation but I have the equivalent problem with Vista
and Outlook 2002, not yet found anyone with a solution.

Yes, they do. Buy Outlook 2007. There will be no fix for anything older than
Outlook 2003.

Hi guys,

the only solutions available for now are the scripts which you can find
on the following websites:

'Outlook 2002 not retaining password in Vista Home Basic'

and

'Outlook 2002/Vista Issue - Tech Support Guy Forums'

Terrible but true.
Lot of thanks to those guys who are trying to help our Office2002/XP
community!

Greetz,
JR

I did. You have to upgrade. There will be no fix so you have to buy Outlook
2007.
