Vista printing problem

I would appreciate any help on this, I’m trying to connect my Vist
laptop to a printer attached to a XP PC, I can search on the laptop fo
the printer and it can see it, however when you click on it, the messag
“Windows cannot connect to the printer. Access is denied”, appears.

I do have the correct drivers for the Vista laptop, and I have file an
print sharing setup on the laptop and on the PC. (unless I have misse
something with the Vista laptop, however I doubt it).

I have tried adding a local port, and this doesn’t work either.

Any advice would be gratefully received
