Vista Reinstall

Hi,

I am having so many little problems that I think the only thing left to
do is re-install Vista Home Premium.

I have an upgrade disc. I don't want to format the computer etc I just
want to reinstall windows.

Is there a guide somewhere on here? Or do I just do what I did when I
installed vista in the first place i.e switch off computer, insert
Vista disc, run disc at computer start up (before windows loads) etc?

Will I loose all the programs like MS Office ?

Doing an in place upgrade doesn't really fix problems like this. A clean
install (format) is needed to ensure a clean system to start from. With a
clean install you would need to also reinstall all your programs. If you do
a clean install make sure you have your data backed up first.

Hi Frank,
I'd like to help you out in choosing the best route to go but I'm curious
as to what problems your having and how long ago did they start? Did you
install a driver or some other software and started having problems? Hit with
a virus?

You have several options for a possible fix with Vista but we need more info
to guide you as to the best possbile fix. Thanks
