vista search frustration

I'm really trying. I really 'want' to like vista. I have an issue with
searches.
Sometimes I only want search to return files that start with 'rt'. Do I
always have to change the search options to "Always search file names only"
when I want to just find files that start with 'rt'? Sometimes I want to
search inside of files for specific strings. Do I then have to change the
search options AGAIN to "Always search file names and contents"? Is there an
easier way ??? Please send ideas/thoughts. Thanks.

ok...
i figured it out. duh.
Putting in rt gives me files that don't necessarily start with rt because
it's searching within files.
Putting in rt*.sys gives me what I'm looking for.

Sorry for the stupid post.
Have a nice day all!
