Vista Security Settings

Default Vista Security Settings

I have an AMILO L1720 running Vista. If I try to download anything, from
Shockwave updates to ESET Nod32 Anti Virus software, I get a message saying
my security settings do not allow the download. I am the only user and I'm
shown as administrator.

Can anyone help?

While in IE7, Click on Tools, Internet Options, Security Tab. Click the
reset all zones to default level, make your Internet zone medium high.
This should allow downloads that you are prompted for.
