Default Vista is sending wrong passwords to SMB server

Hello all,

I am trying to connect to a SMB fileserver.
I had no problems in XP but, Vista is sending a wrong password.
I checked through the log files and can see that the username is correct
but password is bad.
I also cant see the password as it is encrypted.

Does anybody know a solution for this?
is there any way to send passwords unencrypted?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
