Default Vista and Small Business Server 2003: Password/Network Set Up Pro

Hello All:

I successfully upgraded to Build 5565 and was using it without incident for
a day or so. Then, I decided to "add" the computer to my SBS network. After
I added the PC from my server management console and did the client side work
on the Vista PC, it restarted but wouldn't let me log onto the network. In
addition, I am no longer able to log on to the PC locally (i.e., without the
network). I get one of two error messages:

1. The trust relationship between the PC and the network is broken; or
2. The password for local log on is incorrect.

I am now completely locked out of the computer and cannot log in at all. Do
I have any way to "unlock" the Vista PC and at least access it locally? I
suspect if I were able to access locally, I could "re do" the network setup.

Any thoughts?

Thx.
John

Boot into safe mode and logon as Administrator with no password. Change the
computer back to a workgroup. To join an SBS domain run Internet Explorer
with the "Run as administrator" option and open
https://sbs-server-name/connectcomputer and follow the prompts. Make sure
the Vista computer is using the sbs server for DNS.

Hi John,

If you cannot get into the Local Administrator account
(systemname\Administrator) then you have a real problem. How did you connect
to the SBS domain (clientconnect or Computer Properties?)
