Default Vista UAC

Im using Windows Vista Ultimate and im an administrator.

If UAC (User account Control) is enabled I can't use my PC;-

Access Denied errors within event logs from antivirus, firewall, internet
explorer and so forth.I can't use sidebar doesn't load.No quick launch. Can't
access any files on my hard disk - says its currupt. Can't load word or excel.

When UAC is disabled - after reboot everything working fine - can access
files on my hard disk etc etc.

Could someone please help me

Thank you.

It sounds like some program or service that is running is not Vista
compatible. Did this always happen or is it something new? Did you upgrade
from XP or was this a clean install?

Its a clean install of Vista 32 bit OEM systembuild.

Was working fine until some updates were installed.

After reboot wouldn't work.

Did you try uninstalling the updates or a System Restore to a time before
