| OK, I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise server running AD and when I try to log onto this domain with a Windows Vista Ultimate laptop it A)takes FOREVER to boot and B)tells me that it couldn't find my profile and will use a temporary one instead. I have checked the security settings on the users profile, checked permissions on the profile folders, created a new profile for this user and even tried having the profile point to a local path to store on the laptop. None of this helps. The laptop is a 6 month old gateway with 2GB memory, AMD Turion 64-bit. All of my other machines work great on this domain and I have no other issues, they are running XP Pro however. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME??? | Guest
