Vista Updates Ruined Me

I recently had alot of problems doing windows updates with Vista and i tried
again this morning and they worked finally. Now comes the big issue after the
reboot of these being done i no long can connect to any sort of internet
(LAN/wireless). I tried reinstalling the drivers and everything. PLZ HELP!
