Vista updates via Windows Update

Apologies if this is incorrect group but here goes. My installation of Vista
on a seperate partition of my HDD ( allowing me to dual boot ) was amazingly
troublefree and intially I was able to download & install updates from
windows update. However after the first few, I am no longer able to d/l any
updates. Windows update tells me that there are 4 updates all dated July
with Important priority waiting to be d/l & installed. Each time I try it
though, it fails with error code 8000FFFF. I have used the Beta client to
file this problem

Any ideas?
