Vista and WME 2005 Dual Boot on Acer Laptop

Just thought I would give my 10 pence worth on the "Problem ? None!!!!"When
I decided to purchase Windows Vista Ultimate Edition to complement my Laptop
which has 120GB HDD Sata drive divided into 2x Partions.
Installed Vista onto the D: Partition no problem other than needed new
driver for acer orbicam used logitech`s latest driver for QuickCam works a
treat.
Also for those with Norton installed 2007 had no problem leaving that on the
C: partition and Installed AVG Pro anti-virus for the D: again works
perfectly as Norton is not Vista friendly at the moment for whatever
reason!!.
Have been running system now for over 3x mnths and not had a single problem
CPU runs at 8-12% idle memory is around 42% of 2GB plus 2GB flash Drive
(which by the way does work in boosting system) just as the ad say`s.
Acer have just sent me the free upgrade CD`s for Vista Home Premium but will
not be using that as I was not willing to give up my MCE 2005 Key and
programs after 6mnths waiting for them to distribute.
My advise to all the peeps wanting to upgrade or fresh install use
Microsofts own program around15MB free to check if your system is ready or
not . The good aspect of the program is it gives you a printable report so
you cant go wrong before you take the plunge.
Cheer peeps a very happy chappie here in Holland.
