vista x64 installation help

a message saying no compatibility with my system when i try to install.
have intel core 2 duo 6400.Isn't it 64 bit compatible

I have never heard of a Core 2 duo 6400. Please check again the model number
of the chip and make sure that you have latest BIOS update from your MOBO
manufacturer.
