| Haven't looked at Al's refs, but re-applying SP1 may well be the fix for this. If you've either done a System Restore to a pre-SP1 restore point, or reinstalled XP over itself (after SP1 was applied), or upgraded an XP Home with SP1 installed to XP Pro, this can be the result--reapplying SP1 should fix it.
