VPN trouble

Posted: 10-16-2003, 08:08 PM
We have two nt servers (say server01 & server02) that I used to be able
to connect to by establishing a vpn connection and then using netmeeting
to connect.

We moved the servers to another location and everything remained the
same. An outside person came in and made some changes that I was unaware
of and now users are only able to connect to server01 via vpn. This is
the server that has a 2nd nic card for our internet and vpn connections.
Server02 is unavailable via vpn but everyone on the LAN can access both
servers.

If I try pinging another computer on the network via vpn, usually the
1st ping will complete but the other 3 will timeout. Another attempt
right away causes all 4 to timeout.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what may have happened?

Thanks,
Terry

PS I found today that server02 is now being used as the dhcp server and
server01 used to be the dhcp server. I don't know if that change alone
would make a difference (or why this person changed it)
