vpr matrix a5 laptop (top of the line widescreen)

I have a problem that the computer manufacturer,
microsoft, or Best Buy is unable to solve. I hear from
others that it is common with this unit, and it would
make my year if anyone could solve this.
Anytime a USB device is plugged in other than an optical
mouse, my dial up connection with the internet is
terminated. Furthermore, I am unable to connect to the
internet if the device, such as a printer, is still
attached to the computer. All drivers are updated and
other than this the computer works perfectly. Any
ideas?
