Want a good Image Viewer that shows file title, date, file comment

I set up a file of images to be viewed using filmstrip where the Date and
Comments display as you move through the filmstrip. I want to distribute the
images so others can view the slide and see the comments as they review them.
All worked fine in my XP but as soon as I copied to a CD I lost ability to
view as filmstrip and therefore easy access to the comments (and date).

Does anyone know a good image viewer that will display either as a popup or
overlaid on the screen selected items from the filesuch as title, create date
and comments??

You can make an HTML slideshow using JAlbum http://www.jalbum.net which can
show all sort of information inclusing exif data.

A lot of user defined skins for JAlbum at http://jrepository.engblom.org/

Xnview is also a great little viewer with some easier to use features than
Explorer. It handles Exif and IPTC data, and best of all it's free.

Filmstrip is not available when using a CD. It is available only when the
photo files are on the hard drive.
