Default Web Banking problem

Hi,

I'm running Vista 64bit, and so far everything is just working as advertise,
except for one thing (an important one though)

When I try to login to my bank (TD Canada Trust), I get to the login just right,
but when I click the login (after I entered ID, and password), all I get is an
error page that tells me to make sure that the SSl and TLS is enable (they are
all enable)

How could I fix this

BTW. I tried with both version of IE7 (64 and standard), and the same place do
work with IE7 under XP

--
Thank you in Advance

Merci a l'Avance

Martin

Some banking systems are slow to accept changes in an OS. this may not be
the problem, but if it is, you mosy likely will not be able to use thier
home banking until some time after Vista is released. I encountered that
with B of A and going from NT4 to 2000.

Make sure that 'SSL2' is checked in Internet Explorer/Options/Advanced/Security

When I'm using IE7 in XP SSL2 is not enable and everything works fine, but in
Vista just to get the login page I need SSL2 enable.

BTW with Beta2 I was able to perform all I needed to do on that same website,
but with RC1....

No, putting the "Secure Sockets Layer" setting under "Security" would make
too much sense for M$.

They put it under "Advanced". Look for SSL 2.0

The issues here are not Vista, they are IE7 (which vista comes with, but
which will also be available for XP).

May I ask stupid questions? Where is this option SSL2? I checked Security
and could not find it.

I had the same problem and I had to 'check' Use SSL 2.0 and 'uncheck' Use TLS
1.0 and then everything was fine. IE7 Vista RC1
