Webcam

I have the windows vistas home premium for a couple months now every time I
try to see any contact in my messenger lists with their webcam the conection
fails. I have tried to change every security set up an stil can't see my
contacts. I thinks this is a problem related to the security in my system any
coments anybody experiencing something similar?
