WebDAV / Web Folder Client (MSDAIPP.DLL) supported in Vista?

Posted: 10-10-2006, 04:41 PM
Will an version of the WebDAV client be supported in Microsoft Vista?
(The Mini-Redirection client seems to be in place - but has propably still
not
yet the full functionality)

Should the URL-notation to open WebFolders still work in IE7 under Vista?
<a href="http://foobar" folder="http://foobar" style="behavior: >
url(#default#AnchorClick)">...</a>

Thanks, Rudolf

WebDAV redirector (the WebDAV client provider that lets you map drive letters
to WebDAV resources is present and completely supported in Windows Vista.
Webfolders however, is not installed by default and is only installed if you
install Office applications. I hope that answers your questions.

If you are having problems accessing WebDAV resources via the WebDAV
redirector, feel free to follow up with me with your steps to reproduce the
problem and any error codes that you are getting.
