Greetings,

Streaming video is moving images seen on your monitor but not downloaded to
your computer, right? But is it a link to a special file format on a server, a
broadcast of some kind (like TV),or something else?

TIA

Streaming Video is located on the server it is being streamed from. And it
is a link to a file that you download and that files contains the info to
tell your media play where to get the video from. you are right about thr
whole video not being downloaded.

Thanks for reply.
So the "stream" is whatever file format (MPEG,MJPEG,AVI) located on the
Server and as played by your default video player client?
