Is RC1 officially out?

I haven't heard news of it being out. Just the pre-RC1 beta the other day.

It was released to TechBeta today along with a letter from Jim Alchin
stating that this was the official RC1. I am downloading the x86 and x64
versions now.

Vista Pre-RC1 is build 5536.

The official RC1 came out today. It is build 5600-16384.

Well, it's hard to tell the difference between 5552 & 5600, if there is
any difference.

Colin,
I don't know if you know the answer to this or not but do you have any
insight as to why a Pre RC1 would come so close to the actual RC1 release?
