What is the significance of the word (recoverd) in the boot window

Posted: 02-20-2007, 06:01 PM
Hi,

I inadvertently deleted the mbr.

So I inserted the Vista DVD and recovered the situation, such that i could
boot again into Vista.

However, the Vista OS now appears with the word - (recovered) - after it, in
the boot OS selector window, and in other places as well.

Please tell me - is the Vista OS still complete and undamaged? Or is it
preferable that I clean everything up and re-install at this early point?
Because I do not want to find later on that the OS is damaged or incomplete
in some way.

Many thanks for your comments,

Roy Mayo.
